Mali'e House

Mali'e (ma-lee-a) means calm or restful, which is exactly what you will feel when you are at this beautifully updated and remodeled home.  Mali'e is located in the Hawaiian Parks subdivision which is about 20 miles from Hilo. It is very private from the nearby homes and is surrounded by beautiful tropical foliage. Feel free to enjoy the passion fruit (liliko'i) that grows by the front door.

This home has three bedrooms and two baths. You will also find cable TV and wireless internet access so feel free to bring the laptop.
You will enjoy the open floorplan of this home. There are french doors leading out to the lush back yard and the lanai.  This home has such a comfortable feel to it you may never want to leave and explore all of what east Hawaii has to offer.
Mali'e is located in a subdivision that has the look and feel of Old Hawaii, you will feel safe in this family neighborhood. Be sure and go out to Kahakai Blvd and turn left and journey down to the park by the ocean for some spectacular views of the water and you might very well see whales and sea turtles. Be careful though, watching the swells come in is hypnotizing.
Now this is a kitchen you can cook in. New stainless steel appliances and plenty of counter space to work with.  This may be the time to try out a few Hawaiian dishes.  If you give us your shopping list we will even do your grocery shopping before you arrive.  How cool is that?
Linger over a meal while you recount today's adventure or plan tomorrows.  In addition there is additional seating at the counter.
Of course this is a very nice place to eat too or just hang out and enjoy the jungle.
Now this is a guest room you can get comfortable in, kick back and relax, watch a little TV or read a book.  It also has it's own balcony looking over the jungle in back with a peek a boo view of the ocean.
No matter which room you choose you will get a good night sleep while you dream about the tropics. This room is equipped with a TV and a desk for your laptop.
Each bedroom is fit for Alli'i (royalty).  All three bedrooms are separated from each other and this one is directly across from one of the two bathrooms.
Both bathrooms are clean and spacious.
The Master bath has some great tile work throughout.

Mali'e rates:

$110/night, $660/week, $2200/month
Based on double occupancy.  Each additional person, $10 per night per person.  Maximum 6 people.
Three night minimum stay.

All rates are plus 11.416% Hawaii tax and All rates are plus 11.426% Hawaii tax and nonrefundable cleaning deposit based on number of guests.

There is no smoking in any of our homes and as is custom in Hawaii, please remove your shoes before entering.
