Hale Anuenue Li'ili'i

Hale Anuenue Li'ili'i
Little Rainbow House

Hale Anuenue Li'ili'i is a great little home nestled in its own private tropical garden. Located in a quiet subdivision near Pahoa Town. It is about half way between Hilo and Kapoho Tide Pools so it is centrally located in East Hawaii.

Yes that is lava and this garden is growing right out of it!! Try digging a hole in that. It's hard to imagine gardening in lava but actually lava is full of minerals and nutrients that make plants thrive.
Hale Anuenue Li'ili'i features a large galley kitchen to make all of your favorite dishes with ease. You may even buy a Hawaiian cookbook or two and try some new recipes. Be sure to eat out on the dining lanai for food always tastes better outside while in the tropics.
This hale also boasts an indoor eating area, but it might be better used to pour over the guide books while you are deciding your day's adventures. Or it would be a good place to hook up the computer as this house is wired for high speed internet so bring your computer if you like. This hale also features Satellite T.V., DVD and CD players and Free mainland telephone service. A washer and dryer are also here for your convenience as is a barbecue.
Today might be just the day to get out to the Kapoho Tide Pools and snorkel away the day.
Light filled main living area is a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the satellite T.V. or read on a lazy day.  Tile floor is cool to bare feet and is often preferred in Hawaiian homes over carpeting.
The bedroom has a very comfortable double bed for drifting to sleep in after a hard day's adventure. This would also be a good place for breakfast in bed if one is so lucky! Speaking of lucky, you are lucky to be in such a beautiful paradise as East Hawaii. It is not hyped up with the glitz of the mega resorts instead it is infused with the true spirit of Aloha. Many people say after staying here a few days that they could feel the spiritual connection to the "Aina" or Land. This is a very special place for Hawaiians.
Steps to the Sleeping Loft. Keiki or children love staying in lofts. There's plenty of room to play up here.
The loft has two very comfortable twin beds and is an enjoyable space to hang out in and look down onto the room below.
Enjoy taking a shower outside! It is a tropical treat and it keeps the steam outside. It's also a great place to rinse off after a day of snorkeling or hiking. Rumor has it that when you shower outside in the morning your whole day goes "mo betta".
This hale is set in a tropical garden. Something is always in bloom here. Take your time and see how many plants you can recognize.
